Computer Teacher

Mrs. Lorie Sheard enjoyed the blessing of realizing her need for Christ at a young age and then had the privilege of growing up in a Christian home and attending a Christian school.  She graduated from Bob Jones University with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Computer Science.  She has experience teaching both elementary and high school levels having taught in the public school system and also in another Christian school.  She also has experience in various business ventures with her husband.

Lorie and her husband Josh, a financial advisor,  have seven children - four of whom graduated from Canaan Christian Academy.  Lorie enjoys spending time with her family, reading, knitting/crocheting, mountain biking, and kayaking.
