about 6 years ago my husband and I felt led to bring our children to Canaan Christian Academy when we brought her children our oldest was entering 7th grade and so for 7 years she and the two younger children have been in public school during that time. My husband and I had prayed daily about what God would have us to do and I would always pray Christian School about 6 years into that time. Somebody mentioned to my husband School in Lake Ariel we have never been to Lake Ariel it seems like the other side of the state to us but we never forgot that there was a school in Lake Ariel that somebody we respected a great deal cared enough to share I don't think we were in the building 5 minutes and I already began to feel that probably we are going to be led to to leave public school system and bring our kids Academy and it's just been a really good opportune I've joined Ensemble play soccer that's really need to go around with Ensemble we get to sing at different churches and its really good opportunity to minister to people and I always love seeing people's reactions as they are touched by it say it's a smaller school so it's more of a family than it is a school that also provides better experience as in the teachers are closer to you they care about you with more personal and it really gives you a better opportunity to win the war opportunity that I don't want to take for granted because not everyone has but I think if anyone has the opportunity come they definitely should graduating from college guy called me to teach here so I've taught here on and off for the past 30 years just about then when it was time to decide where I can turn it to go to school it really wasn't a hard decision that all the teachers here and I knew their love in your heart for God and we just didn't want to send their kids to a school where they would spend the majority of their time learning of a world philosophy that we just didn't agree with expect more from you and they're just different they actually care God they care about you and your feelings and they're not just looking to get great out of you as I look at Christian education today I feel important today than it ever has been we have a great opportunity for our students to learn not just academically but more importantly spiritually and that's really our goal is to produce students who are ready to get out of here to do whatever God has then prepare to do this you're not just raising your child to be a Godly young person you're raising your child to raise your grandchildren who will in turn one day raise the Next Generation training Christian Academy we have many opportunities for students learn we are mailing a college prep school but we also have opportunities for students to learn the general things that they need we have a teacher who's here is a resource teacher that if they're having struggles they can be coached or talk an individual selling and put into the classroom as well and weaned off of that we also have the opportunity for students to have online classes we have a computer lab that we start our students first grade through 12th grade were they get in there and learn the things I need to have a skill with the computers along with the academics we have Athletics we have soccer in the fall for his girls and boys we have basketball in the winter time or the girls or boys and JV the biggest thing about so was our staff and I believe our staff is a Godly staff one who really has a heart for the students and for their families and we expect them to really get into the lies of their students to be able to see the product of a Godly student come out
