Meet the teacher
Mandy grew up in a Christian home. She was saved at the age of 15 after attending a revival meeting at Calkins Baptist Church . Following high school, Mandy earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education from Bob Jones University. From there she and her husband, John, moved to Florida where they would be for the next twelve and a half years. During that time, Mandy worked in several schools in the area. Mandy also had the privilege of tutoring several students in reading, spelling, and math.
Mandy and her husband moved back to Pennsylvania in 2018. They attend Calkins Baptist Church where Mandy enjoys teaching the 3rd and 4th grade Sunday School class and she and John have the privilege of working with the youth group.
Mandy is looking forward to getting back into the school setting and being part of the CCA family!
In her spare time, Mandy enjoys baking, gardening, and reading.
One of her favorite verses is Isaiah 41:13.
