Meet the teacher

Melanie Lee was saved at a young age and raised in a Christian home. She attended Word of Life Bible Institute in Schroon Lake, NY, where she made her faith her own and deepened her relationship with the Lord. It was also at Word of Life where she met her husband, Dave.

Dave and Melanie have attended Grace Bible Church in Dunmore for the past 13 years, with 8 of those years spent with Dave serving on staff as one of the pastors. Melanie has served alongside her husband in various roles at the church, including a 1st & 2nd grade Sunday School teacher, and preschool teacher for 2’s & 3’s and 4’s & 5’s. She and her husband have led many small groups over the years and enjoy the ministry of hospitality.

Melanie homeschooled her children before sending them to CCA last year. Throughout the year, she enjoyed substitute teaching and volunteering at the school whenever she could. She is excited to join the CCA staff full-time. Melanie feels grateful to be part of a school that partners with parents to educate and encourage students in their academic growth and the truths of God’s Word.
