Meet the teacher
Alicia was saved when she was 8 years old at a VBS. She rededicated her life as a teenager while attending summer camp. Her and Keith were married on July 3, 1994. They moved to Tri-State Bible Camp in 1998 where Keith is the property manager. They have 3 amazing children. Each of them is married to a wonderful godly spouse and have blessed them with 6 special grandchildren so far.
For as long as she can remember she has had a love for children and a passion to teach which led her to homeschool her children for many years. Two of her children attended High School and graduated at Canaan. She pursued and graduated from online college through University of Phoenix and Liberty University studying Early Childhood Education.
She was a paraprofessional at Northwest Christian School for 6 years helping students who had IEPs, then taught K4 for eight years at Canaan. She took a year off (though not knowing it was only going to be a year) to spend more time with her family and to help her oldest daughter with her 4 children. Alicia is thrilled to be back at Canaan as the 4th grade teacher and is looking forward to making an impact on these souls for Chr
