STUDENT CONDUCT AGREEMENT

7th-12th Grades

              I will seek to please God by living in obedience to His Word. I have read the High School Handbook and the handbook addendums and will seek to abide by all the rules stated therein. 

              I understand that I am expected to maintain the standards for Christian behavior outlined in the Handbook both while at school and away from school. I understand those standards, and I agree to abide by them as long while I am enrolled at Canaan Christian Academy. 

              If a problem arises requiring the staff or administration of the school to discipline me, I will seek to accept that discipline as from God-appointed authorities in my life. If I disagree with a staff member or the administration of the school about a matter of discipline, I will appeal in the proper manner striving to maintain a respectful attitude. I will submit to discipline measures deemed necessary by the school.

               I agree to handle and use the equipment and facilities of Canaan Christian Academy in a careful fashion, and I will not deliberately abuse or destroy any school property.

               I also understand that if I move out of the home of the parents or guardians with whom I was living at the time I enrolled at the school, the school administration must be notified of that fact immediately. 

              I understand that attendance at Canaan Christian Academy is a privilege and not a right, which privilege may be forfeited if I do not conform to the standards and regulations of the school. I also understand that the school board may request me to withdraw at anytime if, in their opinion, I do not conform to the spirit of the school regardless of whether I obey specific rules or regulations.
