Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. II Timothy 2:15

Veterans Day

A special chapel service is held in honor of our Veterans. Special speakers, who are current or former members of a branch of our armed forces, make presentations, most of which have a tremendous impact on students. Video of family members who are deployed are often a part of the program. It is a time when students are reminded of the cost of liberty and freedom.

The Student Council organizes the annual Veterans Day Chapel. This year's guest speaker was Colonel Jim May. Colonel May served 8 years as a Marine in Vietnam but later became an army chaplain.

CCA's own Ensemble, Songs of Praise, sang the stirring song, Under God, to accompany a video depicting our founding as a country, our military and our nation.

At the end of the chapel, Senior class Vice President Rebekah Misiura asked family of servicemen to stand as she announced each of the CCA alumni who have served our country in the military.

Afterwards a slide show with a song of thanks was played.
