Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. II Timothy 2:15

Pilgrim Day

On Pilgrim Day, grades K through 6 rotated through stations to learn of colonial life. Mrs. Denise Eason taught about Pilgrims and pretzels. Mrs. Renee Vigil talked about home and school. Mrs. Jessica Brown's lesson was about Pilgrims at church, while Mrs. Sarah Farrell explained early American occupations. The children created a Thankful Tree with Mrs. Debbie Winnberg and Mrs. Kirsten Arendt. Mrs. Barbara Grant (event organizer) and teacher trainees finished out the stations with several kinds of colonial games. During the afternoon students enjoyed a video about William Bradford. Thanks to everyone who worked to make this special day of learning possible for the students!
