Principal

Michael Boole was saved at the age of nine in Paris, TN on a Wednesday night after prayer meeting. At the age of twelve he was baptized after realizing that he needed to follow the Lord in this first step of obedience. He attended Bob Jones University from 1975-1979. At Bob Jones University, the Lord impressed upon him the need to teach in a Christian school to help young people have the opportunity to know the Lord and find His will for their lives. He graduated in 1979 with a BS in Health and Physical Education and a minor in composite science. Mr. Boole went back to BJU in the summers to further his education where he received his MS in Educational Leadership in 2002. Mr. Boole was a teacher, athletic director, and coach at Great Hope Baptist School in Chesapeake, VA from 1979-1982. He then became the Assistant Principal and athletic director at Grace Baptist School in Petersburg, VA from 1982-1984. He took the same positions at Centre County Christian Academy in Bellefonte, PA from 1984-1996. The Lord then led him to Calvary Baptist Academy in Clymer, PA to be the administrator from 1996-2015. He became the principal at Canaan Christian Academy in 2015. Mr. Boole is a board member of the Keystone Christian Education Association. He and his wife, Mary Vick, have three grown children and ten grandchildren.
