Financial Aid & Tuition
Nearly half of our families are receiving some type of financial help. The Academy is heavily supported by our founding church, Canaan Bible Chapel. Without its support, the tuition would become dramatically increased.
Scholarships
Scholarships are available to qualifying families through our PennGift scholarship fund. Canaan Christian Academy participates in the PA EITC (Educational Improvement Tax Credit) program to raise scholarship monies for low and middle income families. Parents seeking scholarship help are screened by FACTS Management to determine if they meet the state's eligibility requirements. If they qualify, they receive scholarship aid as determined by CCA. Award amounts are variable depending on family income and number of students enrolled at CCA. In recent years, all families that have been approved received a minimum of $1500.00. The EITC program allows both businesses and individuals to contribute to CCA's scholarship fund. If you or your business pay eligible state taxes (like the PA Personal Income Tax) you can participate. Please consider being a donor to our scholarship fund through this program which gives donors a 90% tax credit. Tuition Schedule and Information (2024-2025)
Registration fees for grades PreK–6th, is $300 per student; $400 for grades 7-12. It can be paid in full by August 15 or added to the monthly tuition payment. This fee is not included in tuition. CCA also has a sports fee for soccer and basketball for our high school students. The sports fee is $50 per sport and must be paid by the first practice.
Tuition may be paid in any of the following ways*:
- In full by August 15 – receive a 2% discount
- Payable in 10 monthly installments (August – May)
- Payable in 12 monthly installments (August – July)
*All tuition payments are due on the 15th of each month.
Accepted methods of payment:
- Approved Credit or Debit Card (a 3% convenience fee will be added)
- Personal Check
